Smart waste collection systems developed in Türkiye provide efficiency and environmental sustainability in urban waste collection operations through sensor-based container fill-level monitoring, route optimization software, and cloud-based data management. These systems are drawing attention particularly within the context of green public procurement and environmentally focused waste management policies in Europe.

Construction and special-purpose vehicle/equipment manufacturers in Türkiye have begun preparations for the Bauma 2028 trade fair, to be held in Munich, Germany, on 3–9 April 2028.
