Mobile healthcare vehicles developed in Türkiye — including mobile blood donation units, laboratories, intensive care–supported emergency response vehicles and disaster/triage-focused mobile units — are being developed in line with criteria for technical design, medical equipment layout, energy and hygiene infrastructure. These vehicles are used to rapidly deliver healthcare services in emergencies, disasters or field conditions.
Electric ambulances are emerging as a key technology area supporting the use of low-emission vehicles in emergency healthcare services. Ambulance superstructures developed in Türkiye are being shaped in conjunction with electric propulsion systems, taking into account international requirements defined for road ambulances in terms of both safety and technical design.
In concrete pump manufacturing, advanced technologies such as digital pressure monitoring and automatic lubrication systems are improving the safety, efficiency and maintenance management of pump equipment in the field. Developed by companies in Türkiye and internationally, these solutions reduce failure risks in pump operations and help ensure operational continuity.
In Türkiye and global construction equipment manufacturing, the use of pump booms made from carbon composite materials is standing out in concrete pumps due to their potential for both weight reduction and efficiency gains. These booms aim to deliver advantages in fuel consumption and operating costs by reducing the weight of the load-bearing mechanical structure.
In concrete pumps manufactured in Türkiye, digital control infrastructures, remote monitoring capabilities and safety-oriented engineering approaches are gaining increasing importance. Modern sensor systems and advanced control units are now widely employed to enhance safety, efficiency and operational continuity throughout pumping operations.
Some manufacturers operating in the field of road tanker manufacturing in Türkiye are able to offer their products to international markets thanks to design and production infrastructures aligned with European standards. Aluminum and alloy metal structures, ADR-compliant superstructure designs and modern control systems are among the key elements supporting the competitiveness of Türkiye-based manufacturers in the tanker market.
Smart level control systems contribute to safer filling and discharge operations in tankers engaged in liquid transportation. These systems reduce operational risks by integrating level, pressure and temperature monitoring with automatic alarm and emergency shutdown mechanisms. In Türkiye, some local manufacturers are also developing solutions in this field.
In lightweight alloy tankers, optimizing the balance between weight and capacity makes a significant contribution to transport efficiency. In Türkiye, some manufacturers operating in this field base both structural design and production processes on compliance with international standards.
Digital control and remote monitoring technologies are increasingly being implemented in ambulance services. Systems referred to as “smart ambulances” aim to enhance the effectiveness of emergency medical services by transmitting patient data, vehicle location information, and operational parameters to emergency response centers in real time.
In Türkiye, the modular cabin approach in ambulance production is being increasingly adopted. Designing in-vehicle components as independent modules provides flexibility in maintenance and repair processes, while contributing to reduced vehicle downtime and extended cabin service life.
